When I purchased this home, there were a lot of things I wanted to change. But at this point, I was only wanting to tackle my kitchen!! **please note as you are looking at these pictures, these walls and trim were freshly re-painted cream before I purchased. I just prefer white, and when comparing the two it is crazy. My entire home was painted banana pudding/yellow cream pretty much top to bottom. I wanted a kitchen that allowed for people to congregate and hang out. Every kitchen is always the hub and I wanted to be able to enjoy mine! As you can see all the cabinets were painted the lovely buttercream. I loved the floors but will shortly after moving in all the tiles started popping so I realized I had to do something with that. All the walls were also covered in about two layers of wallpaper and then an additional boarder. And I do believe that anybody that decides to wallpaper their home should be required to remove it before they leave said home. Just saying...horrible!!! I wish I had fantastic tips that made it go faster but I don’t. I was honestly an idiot that thought I could get it done and it took me close to a year. At one point a dear friend came over and poked a little bit of fun at me saying they didn’t think my struggle with my kitchen walls was a smart and productive use of my time. They were right... Yes, this little messy spot is my “ workspace”
